Has anyone bought packages for hotels and tickets through Costco? We are interested in their packages, because of the included character breakfast and the Toon Town Morning Madness. Would we be able to choose where we eat our character breakfast? It is more to book through them than if I book it all myself, but we have a son with disabilities and Morning Madness would make out trip much easier on everyone because we should be able to see Mickey and Minnie with a much shorter wait. Thanks for any help!

You do get to choose your breakfast spot with the included (I can't say "free" b/c when I booked, the package was the same as the AAA price plus almost all of a character breakfast, LOL) breakfast voucher.

Morning Madness was OK. We went on a day where the skies opened up into a huge downpour, so it wasn't typical...everyone went running for Mickey's house and it was incredibly busy inside, much busier than a different day we visited Mickey's House.

I have booked with costco twice. I agree with the OP the "free" character breakfast doesn't exactly add up to be free when comparing with other companies, but I think it was a pretty good deal anyway. and the ease of getting it all done at once was so nice!

Yes you do get to choose which breakfast you go to. My kids love morning madness, plus you get priority seating at a few other shows (I cant remember which off the top of my head, we didn't end up using them last time.)

The other wholesalers I use for Disney are generally cheaper, so just be sure to shop around. Have a great trip!

We booked through costco, we leave on Sat!!.

1 kid,2 parents, airfare from PDX-LAX Horizon/AK, 7 nights at the BWPPI, 5 day parkhopper, 1 character bkfst with an additional $20 gift card for the gift shops, shuttle from LAX to hotel and back, early entry, TTM, neck straps, disney collector coin, luggage tags, book of coupons, priority seating etc. all delivered by UPS. $2030.00

One phone call to costco travel, 15 min to plan trip. Conf. letter arrived in 2 days. Tickets arrived 14 days ago. So far 0 hassle.

This time next week I will be in line (subs?) paying $4.00 for a bottle of water:D

I agree with previous posters. My wife and I are usually rabid costco fans, but in this case we booked straight through Disney, as Costco was not any cheaper. It was just the disney cost + character breakfast cost = costco price. I was kinda disappointed in costco that they didnt offer any savings, and their "free" character breakfast really wasnt.

Get the Chase Disney Visa and you can get a character Meet & Greet which allows you and your family to have a short visit (alone!) with some Disney characters. We usually get either Chip & Dale or Mickey & Goofy. The Visa has no annual fee, plus you get a free 5x7 and free stroller rental every day.

Thank you so much for reminding me about this I didn't realize we would possibly be able to meet with Mickey.

I believe Visa does the meet & Greet for 2 hours and the 1st hour is either Chip & Dale and the second hour is Mickey & Goofy (or the other way around!). I just hate standing in line to meet the characters because it seems like we have a sign on our family that reads "Time to take a break!" We never seem to make it to the front of the line.

We've done the Visa Meet and Greets and like what was previously said we've only seen Chip & Dale or Mickey and Goofy. But one thing that was nice is they told us when Mickey would be back so we'd either wait or come back. I think the most we've waited for him to come back was maybe 30 mins. Plus sometimes if your lucky you get a picture with all the four of them which is really fun because they'll play back and forth.

The meet & greet is awesome! Since they moved it over by Monster's Inc, we did not see Mickey there one time (doesn't mean he isn't there, but we didn't get him in 4 tries). We got: Max & Goofy, Chip & Dale, Chip & Dale with Pluto who showed up for a switch-out, and Pluto by himself. Still an awesome experience though.

We got mickey and goofy one morning. one morning just goofy. other times chip and dale. I've not done costco so I have no opinion. we got 10% off our character brkfst with our AP. (I think you can get a AAA discount if no AP). And I thought the meet and greet was only moved until the food and wine festival was over.
