A while ago, There was a website posted here that listed all upcoming conventions/ groups in Anaheim with expected attendance #s. Does anyone have a link to this site (or one like it)?

I am planning a trip Sept 20-24th and hotel rates seem really up this week and I am trying to find out why. Does anyone know off hand if something big is happening that week? We came this time last year and it was really slow and we got a great AP rate at DL hotel.

I don't know the website link that you are asking about but I do know that there is the National Safety Congress and Expo during that time. Another post mentioned 16,000 people attending but maybe if someone else has the link that you are asking about you can confirm the approximate numbers of attendees.

Hope that helps:)

I wonder if that is a rocking group. I remember working a winery one summer in college, and the wildest biggest group of drinkers was a tour of...yep...funeral directors. They cleaned us out! Go figure!

I suppose now I have offended all the funeral directors on this board....so I should add LOL or something like that. They were a fun group!

Yes! This was the website I was looking for. Thanks!

Yikes! 20,000. I may have to rethink our travel dates. Hotels have defintely adjusted their rates in anticipation of this. Hojos and a few others had limited availablility at what I considered to be a premium rate for this time of year.

I knew the rates were all out of whack for a reason.

Mind you I see that they have some rooms blocked

DLH for $178 a night doesn't seem too bad. Wonder what we'd need to do to be allowed to reserve...

I bet they'll all keep their arms and legs inside the ride vehicle at all times!:p If they don't mind, could you have them take a look at monorail blue while they're at it?:D
