We are considering the Caribbean West cruise via Key West.
Can anyone recommend the quietest time to go?
And
Does that also translate as being the most reasonably priced time?
Thanks

My husband and I went on The Disney Magic the week before Mother's Day...in May (obviously:rolleyes: ).

We did the 4 day land/3 day sea cruise. It was our first time at WDW...and my first time on a cruise. We had a blast. We have 3 children...and we didn't take them, as this was a special birthday gift from my husband (I had such a good time, that the next year, we took the kids for their first time to WDW!).

WDW in early May was not crowded...it was pretty warm already though. The cruise was booked, but the ship is so large, that it just didn't seem crowded, except for the night that you get to meet the ship's captain...and Captain Mickey. Disney is so good at crowd control, and seating arrangements, that I hardly even saw children during our cruise.

I think May is still considered a more expensive time to go...just a warning though, Sept. is the start of hurrican season, so even if there is no hurrican, there is a lot more rainfall activity (there just was an article on this subject in the SF Chronicle...a woman and her kids went...and it rained through the whole trip!).
So, besides worrying about costs, worry about the best season to go for weather. Disney's private island, Castaway Cay, is so pretty and so much fun, you don't want to have a rainy day on that port call.

You will have a great time if you go...
