Did anyone read Al's column today? He published three comics from Roman Dirge, and they are quite entertaining. Thanks Roman! :)

Thanks Roman! :) ARGHHHH!! :D :D Hyperboy 10-03-2002, 01:58 PM I thought Roman Dirge's comic was freekin hilarious and right on the money. So glad he was able to vent through MousePlanet. Walt probably would dismember himself if he came back as Uncle Zombie :) I've been a fan of Mr. Dirge since I saw the flash animations of Lenore (cute little dead girl) on www.screenblast.com in the Horror/SciFi section. His stuff is reminiscent of, but more fun than (IMHO) Tim Burton's work. Somehow manages to be dark and icky but makes you laugh your arse off at the same time. There are like 20ish episodes online, but I think you need a broadband connection to view them. Of course, I also went out and bought the Lenore comic collections! She is just too too adorable (You also gotta see his version (in Lenore) of "Pop Goes the Weasel"... eeew. :D) Anyway, I'm glad we have Roman on our side. Keep up the great work! Hyperboy 10-03-2002, 02:13 PM OK, they changed screenblast to make it bizarre and difficult to get to the Lenore stuff. It used to go right to the programming and now I can't seem to find it except in a roundabout way. From the first page, in the top bar, click SUPPORT. On the next page that loads, scroll down and click FAQ. On the next page (http://www.screenblast.com/screenblast2/index.idml?identifier=support_faq_root&idmltype=ui) that loads, scroll down under where it says "General Screenblast FAQ" and click on the question "Where do I find Screenblast shows like Glass, Lenore, Sweet J Presents and Wake Up Show?" When you click on that question, it will provide you with a link to the programming area. I have no idea why they made this so wierd. Maybe I am not looking in the right place on the first page. But if they made it that difficult to find... Bad, bad design :) Morrigoon 10-04-2002, 02:48 AM OH! *That* Lenore! I didn't know what Al was talking about until you said "cute little dead girl". How odd, I guess I assumed that was Burton (Sorry Roman! Like your stuff!) |
