Why are we not allowed to ignore it? All it does is pollute the "New Posts" results with the same message over and over and over and over....

Is there ANYTHING that can be done about it???

Can you be more specific about the problem you are experiencing? I just took a quick peek at the new posts page and I didn't find anything from the autoposter until Page 3: "Step right up and buy a piece of Indiana Jones - MSNBC" What is the "same message" you are getting over and over and over and over?

Perhaps not the EXACT same message, but this is nowhere near the first time it's posted near-identical topics that took a pages' worth of "New Post" hits.

Those are listings in the Announcements that come from Disney. They let you add specific events to your Google calendar or other personal event calendar. They are not all the same, but do tend to come in large bunches, especially when there are events such as the flower show and the food and wine festival.

OK, so if I don't use any of those online calendars, is there any way to make it stop? It just doesn't seem worth taking up search result space.
