Hi all,
This is my first post and I have a couple of questions. I will be visiting WDW for the basically the first time in December. I say basically, because the first time I went I was really young and don't remember it.

I am a little confused on the Water Parks and More option. I know you can get admittance to Pleasure Island, but do you have to pay separately for entrance to the clubs. I am actually only interested in the Comedy Clubs. Also, if I didn't want to the do the Water Parks and More option can I get tickets to the Comedy Clubs separately.

One more question, I know that there is only one water park open in December, but is it really to cold to go?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

You get one "extra" for each day (2 or more) of your multi-day ticket. You use 1 "extra" each time you go into an individual water park or Quest or Pleasure Island. By going to more than one of these in a given day or combination of days you use more than one of your "extras". So if you leave a WP and want to come back in the same day, get your hand stamped. Same at DQ. At PI you get a wrist band good for all clubs for that day. So it makes no difference how many you go to.

As for the water parks in December, the answer is yes and no. On one visit we found it in the mid to upper 80s every day, so that was great. On another it was actually 27 in the morning, so obviously WAY too cold. On the third it was the upper 70s - marginal, but the water was warm. So at that time of year it's really hit-or-miss. Sorry.

We keep the water in all the slides and pools around 80F (27C) except for Shark Reef which does not have filters, pumps or heaters. What you want is a day that will be bright and sunny and preferably not windy.

If you go on a day that is heavily overcast you will not be able to take advantage of any radiant heating (from the sun) or on a windy day (especially with a dry wind from the North) you will get hit by wind chill.

But a day with the highs in the mid-50s or above which is sunny and calm most people (at least from Northern climates) should be comfortable.

As far as the WPF&M and Pleasure Island. Some of the clubs have no cover or a single fee. There is also a "Multi-Club" ticket. It is my understanding that at least the Adventurer's and Comedy Clubs require the multi-club pass for admission, while all that have a cover accept it.

The current price for a water park admission is $41.54 and for PI Multi Club is $23.37 while adding the WPF&M option to a MYW ticket is $53.25 (all adult with tax included).

If you check here (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1452684) you will find a more detailed answer to your question. Post #2 and #11 of the thread may be the best information for you.

You can always upgrade your ticket once you are there and add the Water Parks Fun & More option. So the forecast is for swim weather, then you can add it on. If it's going to be chilly, you have some yourself a bit of $$$.
