who can go all day without a break.

We dont ever go back to the hotel for a break. They fall asleep when they are tired. But even if we are there till midnight, they are fine. And this is getting there at lik 9 or 10 AM.

Are my 3 the freaks? :p

What do you consider all day?

My son has gone from morning to evening without a break, but if we were there a couple of days, I wouldn't let him do it because he ends up getting cranky. This June we went on a trip that lasted too long, in part, I think, because we didn't take enough breaks. By the end of the trip, he was wiped out and we were really wiped from dealing with him.

My very good friends come down with their children who are now 5, 6, 6, and 15. They've gone for years without breaks, but also, in the evening, around bedtime, their children know when they're tired and at times they had one or two children in their strollers asleep. They now tackle the park(s) without strollers, but they don't usually stay at the parks for midnight closings, (yet.) ;)

You think your kid's a freak??!!

My 3 year old will get up at 6 am, wide awake if he knows we're going to Disneyland. He usually stays awake for the trip up, about an hour and a half. He'll stay awake until about 4 or 5 then naps for about 2 hours in the stroller. He wakes up, still excited to be at the park. After that he'll stay awake until whenever we leave the park, which is about 12:30 or 1 am. He takes after his mom, a MAJOR Disneyland freak!!!:D

I guess the stroller nap is considered a break, we usually stay in the park or walk around Downtown Disney.

I'm actually hoping my kids ARE "freaks"...at least as far as it's been defined in this topic. :)

Since we're staying off-site at WDW in November, I'm hoping that they'll be able to handle the all-day schedule. I have a few things going for me though:

1) They're 7 and 11, and are used to staying up (whenever they can get away with it)

2) The weather SHOULD be cooler and less humid, so not quite as sapping.

3) I've got them walking a half-hour a day on the treadmill with me, so they should be in pretty good walking shape. (And they love it! I have to MAKE myself do the workout. FREAKS I SAY!)

4) With the parks closing earlier in the evenings, it won't be really late each night (9pm at the most with Epcot or MK on a Saturday). I've even got a day or two mixed in there where we're back at the room as early at 6pm.

All in all, I think they'll be fine. I'm not so sure about me though.... :)

It was a joke calling my kids freaks, as in not normal, considering what I posted.

We go all day long in park, other than them napping when needed. I just meant we dont go back to our hotel for a break and swim, or nap.

My kids are 4, 2 and 1!

My kids are 2, 4 and 10 and we spend all day everyday when we are there in the park, on our last trip no one napped at all and everyone did great. I didn't have any cranky kids they were too happy. I was a bit amazed at my 2 yr old being able to do this without a nap all week, but at night everyone crashed and slept well!
