We are using our DVC points to take our first family trip to DW next spring and are having trouble picking a resort. Any ideas on the best stay?
We live near Disneyland, so we are planning on spending most of our DW stay at Disney Studios, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom. We have two young children (will be ages 9 and 5). We stayed at Port Orleans before kids, but no where else.
We are thinking either the Beach Club Villas or Boardwalk. Any opinions on the better of the two, or maybe another recommendation?

Between the two I"d pick the Beach Club. You're a bit closer to Epcot, you get to use Stormalong Bay (the best hotel pool area on property!), and you're very close to all of the other hotels in that area. Either room will be more or less the same, with differing decor.

Next month will be our second stay at the Beach Club villas. Last August we had a studio for a weekend, after spending five days at a one-bedroom at Saratoga Springs. We loved Stormalong Bay, and I'm sure your kids would too. It's basically like a small water park, with a whirlpool, lazy river, and big slide. The Beach Club is a beautiful hotel.

Thanks for all the recommendations. We were leaning towards the Beach Villas, it sounds like this is our best option.

Beach Club. Definitely Beach Club. We are staying here for the first time in August to enjoy the pool. A section of the pool is like a beach- including sand at the bottom of it!

You also have great access to Epcot and the Studios.

Have a wonderful trip!

Another vote for the Beach Club! It's awesome. The pool is incredible. Your kids will love it. I have stayed there three times and keep coming back.

But don't shortchange MK! It's similar to DL, but definitely different. It'd be a shame to not do it justice; IMO it's still the best park in the resort!
