Our AP's have lapsed and we would like to use our economic stimulus check to buy AP vouchers at our local Disneystore. We will most likely be going to DL in the fall but if we can't make the trip until February or March would we still be able to get AP's with the plastic vouchers even though "for use before January 5, 2009" is clearly printed on the back?

Thanks :)

The UNofficial policy is that they will honor the voucher for the price paid AFTER the expiration date, but that you would have to pay the current prices for the ticket media you purchased.

For example, you buy a Premium Annual Pass voucher for $379, but during the first part of 2009, Disney decides to raise the price to $399. You would be required to pay the extra $20 to cover the difference.

But if they raised prices prior to 1/6/09, they would not change you anything extra....

Thanks Darkbeer...I was hoping that you would weigh in on this for me.

Would you chance it and hope that they would stand by an "unofficial" policy since it's a significant amount of $$ or is there a better way to do this?

Thanks,

Jenn

put your money in a 6 month CD, then you can take it out when you want to use it, and get the interest. :)

While that sounds like the best thing to do it wouldn't work for us.

I want to make sure that the $$ are locked into getting our AP's however far in advance it might be.

Buy a disney gift card that way you have the money "held" for you when you want to get them.
