Alright folks. I just got back yesterday from Disney, and I am planning to go back in December. Most of the time, we are staying off site at a relatives house. We figured since we are staying there for free, we could save money to stay at a nice hotel on Disney property for 2-3 nights. We will be going during the value season, before December 18. I want to stay somewhere I've never stayed before. I've stayed at All the Value resorts (except pop, and explored movies), All the moderate resorts except Coronado Springs, and only AKL for Deluxe Resorts. I'm thinking about staying there again, but theres so many places I've never stayed before. If you could stay anywhere on Disney property, but only had 2-3 nights, where would you stay? And WHY? Help me out!!!

Poly - Hawaii Lodge (Concierge) with Lagoon / MK views. In February 2007 we were upgraded from our regular room at the Poly to the Concierge Lodge. It was wonderful!

Beach or Yacht Clubs. The pool area (Stormalong Bay) makes it worthwhile.
or maybe the Contemporary- but only if the construction is finished.

I would stay at the Grand Floridian, no doubt about it! Alas, I'm poor, so when I go, I stay at Pop Century, although my mom is trying to convince me to let her pay the extra so we can stay at NOFQ next summer; they just got back and loved it there!

Poly with an MK view. It would be wonderful. So far we've only stayed at CBR & POFQ(which was so good we're going back in Sept.) I also like the Beach Club. What a great decision to have to make:)

Grand Floridian and request a lagoon view. You can see the water, the water sports and the castle from your room.

Poly hands down - I love the view from there and would have reservations for O'Honas at least one day - I just can't get myself to spend that much for a room for a weeks stay (my usual length).

I'd probably do Beach Club or Contemporary. Good pool/hot tub situation, easy access to Epcot/MK/monorail, etc.

If only for 2-3 nights I think I'd choose the Contemporary MK castle view tower room so I could watch the fireworks every night before happily dropping into bed; or maybe the the Poly so I could watch them from the Beach. Lucky you! Don't forget to tell us your decision.

If you've stayed at all the moderates except the Coronado Springs, I'd say stay at the Coronado Springs! For me it's easily the nicest of the moderates, with almost a deluxe feel. The rooms are laid out around the 15 acre Lago Dorado Lagoon, and the scenery is really lush. They have a great theme pool and several more traditional "quiet" pools, and their food court is excellent. This is a convention hotel, but the conventioneers have their own part of the hotel for their meetings, and usually don't impact the park guests. Give it a try - I really think you'd love it!

Probably the Boardwalk. It'd just be so nice to walk around the lake in the morning before breakfast. And to be so close to Epcot.

Pete - I am going back there for a second time (can't afford Deluxe either!). I am a mum so I know, we only offer to do these things if we want to. Take the offer up, and I hope you have a wonderful time :)

I would stay at the Grand Floridian, in a concierge suite, mostly because I've never stayed there before.

It would have to be the Polynesian with the lagoon view.

It's tough not to vote for the Grand Floridian....I love the sound of the Monorail 'swoosh' and the Railroad whistles in the morning! :)
