i'm fairly new to Magical Express (only used it once before) i know it goes to and from the resorts and the airport. i'm arriving in orlando early in the morning (9 am, so not so early arrival but early take-off). i was planning on taking ME to my resort and then going to the parks for the day. i remember reading somewhere something about ME going to the resorts and about how that was the perk to ME you can go from the airport to the park and not have to worry about your luggage until later that night. anyone know anything about this? my trip isn't until august, so i still have plenty of time, i'm just trying to get as much figured out as i can. any help would be appreciated.

That's right.
You take DME from the airport after you check in with them. They'll tell you which shuttle to take and they will get your luggage for you from baggage claim as long as you have it tagged.
You can check in at your hotel and your luggage will be delivered later in the day to your room. :)

Yes! It is lovely!!! Just got back from WDW, used ME and it was excellent. Luggage was delivered at 2:30, Plane landed at 10:45. A bit of a wait, but worth the non hassle!!!

Don't forget to pack whatever supplies you want for the day of your arrival in your carry-on baggage. Have a great trip!

It could be 2 - 3 hrs later that your bags are delivered, but if you've gone straight to the parks, you're not going to notice anyway.

Last year we flew into Orlando at about 9:00 am, and took DME to our resort. We checked in (room was not ready yet, obviously), got our tickets etc & went straight to the park (left our carry-on bags w/bell services). Later that afternoon I called the resort & got our actual room number. That evening, after our day @ the park, we went directly to our room--didn't have to stop by the front desk or anything. When we got there, DME had already delivered our checked bags to the room. Then we simply called bell services and they delivered our carry-on bags to us in about 20-30 mins.

Incredibly simple, and has worked like a charm for us on multiple visits. :D
