I'll be in Disneyland next week--yay! I'll only be there one weekend night--Friday the 16th--so, I want to hit the electric parade, fireworks, and fantasmic all in one night if possible.

I've been reading threads but still have a few questions.

If I watch the electric parade from the area around the orange stinger, I should be able to follow the parade out and head over to Disneyland. Should I watch fireworks from the hub? Is that even possible getting over there that late? Or, do I need to make my way to the Fantasmic viewing area before the fireworks?

From other posts I got that I should go through Frontierland to get to the Fantasmic seating area, but once I'm there, what's the process to get the best seat possible at that time? Is there an area to wait that opens up first when the people from the first show exit? I was excited about using the pole trick, but don't think that works for the second showing (because the pole would already be in the air from the first show). Is that correct? So, where do I want to go for the second showing?

Thanks for your help!

Don't follow the parade out. go around by Grizzly river run. Walk briskly. We actually got seats/spots right by the golden palace for the electric parade. We made it out the gate and into DL, and to the bathroom by the tiki room b4 fireworks time. in fact as we walked up to the bathroom we could see the fireworks that shoot off at the end of fantasmic. As we were leaving the restroom there was an announcement about the possibility of the fireworks being canceled due to weather. We continued over to the Rivers of America to get seats for the later Fantasmic show. We were able to get right down in front of the water. We intended to watch the fireworks from there but they did cancel them because of wind.

We did this friday night. Sat at the cut off for Grizzly River, as soon as the last float passed we ran past grizzly, through Condor flats and out, over to DL, Saw 1/2 the fireworks from main street up towards the Mickey and Walt statue, Ran into frontierland and grabbed a table in front of river belle terrace. WAS AMAZING!!

We got dream passes for the Sunday night show, man fantasmic would be worth the price of admission even if the rest wasnt there. You can still see the fireworks from the terrace, just not quite as nicely as from the middle of town.

Wait, there are dream passes for Fantasmic? Where do you sit and what do you get? Haha. I've never heard of this but it sounds great.

Thanks for the tips.

So, do I stop and watch the fireworks at the hub or in main street, or do I need to book it over to New Orleans?

Are there fewer people for the second show? Do they open up a side (where I should be waiting) to let people in for the second showing or is it come from anywhere?

Thanks again.

They route the crowd from F! thru Adventureland, so those folks wanting to see the 2nd show are que'd up in Frontierland down by the Mark Twain dock if I recall. So you could watch the fireworks from the hub then be prepared to book over thru Frontierland. I'm not sure if the 2nd show is more crowded, but it does seem pretty easy to get good seats down front if you are ready.

Watch the Fireworks at the Hub, and then when everyone is exiting the park, you go to the Rivers of America. You will have plenty of time to get to the RoA. From the hub, just move forward until you can go left through the Frountierland entrance. It is one way toward the River, while Adventureland is one way out to the hub.

Dumb question since we were just there but which is Indie in? Adventure or Frontier? Cause we walked passed Indie and didn't have to get in any kind of line to get to ROA. They just made sure we stayed to the right of the walkway and sent us down between River Belle terrace and the tree house again asking us to stay to the right.

If you are heading toward the hub from the ROA, Indy will be on your right, just past the treehouse, and before the Jungle Cruise. It's kind of tucked in there a little, and not as noticeable if you are being herded or if you're not looking for it.

Indy is in Adventureland. The entrance to Adventureland is where the Tiki Room is. Frontierland is more like a fort with a flagpole in the path. It also has the shooting gallery to your right. So to get to Fantasmic after the fireworks, head toward the shooting gallery, and not toward the Tiki Room.

The one way paths really depend on how crowded it is. If it's light, they do two way traffic, but keep you to the right.

Stupid question:
On DCR website, it says fantasmic is seasonal. We will be going first week in December, are we out of luck? What have people's experience been with what time of year they run fantasmic?

They will most likely just run it on the weekend!
