We will be flying into Long Beach airport on May 22nd and staying at Paradise Pier thru May 26th. Can someone tell me the best transportation from the airport to the hotel, and and then back to the airport? We dont want to rent a car so either taxi or a shuttle would work for us. Thank you :)

Take a taxi. Get the flat rate. I don't know what it is, but it's the cheapest and most eficient method.

For the return trip the guest services desk at the hotel can make your cab reservation and also give you a coupon for the $40 flat rate. If you get the wrong cab co. you might not get the flat rate. Always check with the driver.

Ok, thank you so much for the info!! It sounds like a taxi is the way to go :)
We will be doing the same thing. Do you think 3 adults and one child can all fit in one cab? We will be there a week, so we'll have luggage.

Not a problem! Plus, if you feel like you would like more space, just ask for a taxi van. We have 7 in our party and a van was perfect for us.

I am still always amazed at the size of taxi cab trunks. I swear you can fit an elephant in there (well, a baby elephant). You can fit three adults and a child in a cab easily, but one adult will have to sit up front with the driver.
