Has anyone every sailled over christmas? How does it differ from the reg. cruise?

No. But I do know there are lots of decorations on the ships and on Castaway Cay (I've seen them in the Holiday Warehouse!)

ETA: Hey, I know where Port Orchard is! I think my college friends used to live there (they moved a different direction from Bremerton when they bought their house)

We haven't done a Christmas cruise. But we have done a Thanksgiving. The ship's decorations, and the decorations at Castaway Cay are just amazing.

Based on Thanksgiving Dinner, Christmas dinner will be a special treat. We had options of carved turkey, ham, prime rib, lobster, and salmon. Yum!

I have sailed on several lines over Christmas and there is usually the decorations, a special meal, and, usually a visit by Santa Clause. Most lines also try to have a Midnight Mass while on board and I think it is one of the best ways spend the holidays, especially if you have a large family or just want to get away from it all.
